PRICING…. A steal!   50 cents for paperbacks, $1.50 for the larger paperbacks and $2 for hardback books.   There will be a section of rare, collectible and local books that are slightly more – $2.50 to $10.   Children’s books and audio-visual materials start at 10 cents.

Members Only Preview – people who are Friends of the Library have access to the sale Friday 10am to noon.   If you are not already a Friend, come join at the gate (memberships start at $15) and load up with your favorites.

Payment – we prefer cash but can take checks with appropriate ID and credit cards for purchases over $20.

Restocking – we constantly replenish the books on the table so even if you come by on Booksale2Friday, swing back from time to time – there will be additional gems to pick up.

Sunday is half price day – everything including the rare and collectibles will be half off.

Bagging.   We have plastic bags or you may purchases boxes for $2 each. We also have Friends Book Bags for $2 each.

Leftovers.   The sale closes Sunday at 4pm.  The Friends may donate leftover books to local non-profits in exchange for help with end-of-sale wrap-up. We also use a national book reseller to gain the maximum return for your book donations. Contact Kinsey Baker, the Friends Book Sale Chairman, before the sale begins to make arrangements to box up and remove leftovers – kbakerbooks@centurylink.net.

Silent Auction.   Items will be on a table with clipboards for bidding until Saturday at 3pm when successful bidders may pay for the lots they have won.  We will notify winners at 3pm to arrange payment and pick-up.
