Scott Street Renovation

Our Scott Street Library is an desperate need of a serious face-lift.   The carpet and furnishings are way beyond their useful life.   Our library director, Ray McBride is working with the County to fund the paint and carpet but we are asking the Friends to fund the new furnishings. Every area on the first floor will be touched – the Adult Area will have a long computer table and seating areas for study or relaxed reading and conversation.    The Meeting Room will be streamlined to handle more attendees for our many free events and programs.   The Children’s Room will be updated to accommodate the newest learning tools and provide comfortable seating for children and parents.

AFTER:  What a difference!  New paint and brand new floors already make this a safe, clean, stimulating room to create, learn, discover.
