News From the Friends of the Beaufort Library

Thank you to all of our patrons and volunteers who made the 2025 Book Sale a huge success!

Funds raised at the Book Sale allow us to continue our support of the Beaufort libraries.

Let's build a stronger, smarter, and more connected community—one book, one program, and one reader at a time.

We appreciate all of the generous book donations we received this year.  Without your donations, the Book Sale would not be possible!

Following the Book Sale, we are suspending book donations temporarily through the remainder of 2025.  We look forward to receiving your book donations again in January 2026.

Mark Your Calendar!

The 2026 season of Books Sandwiched In begins on January 26 for six consecutive Mondays from noon - 1 pm.

We look forward to seeing you for another season of interesting presentations and discussions.

The Friends of the Beaufort Library Donation Box has a NEW cover!

We appreciate your book donations and now it's easier than ever to identify the Donation Box.  You'll find the Donation Box in the downtown Beaufort Library's foyer.

  Experience the wonder of Wonderbooks!

With a WonderBook, children can listen to the story being read aloud while following along with the text.  Some versions even include learning modes with questions and activities.

WonderBooks make it possible for kids of all reading levels to enjoy books while improving their reading skills.

Friends of the Beaufort Library is proud to provide funding for WonderBooks at the Beaufort, Port Royal, and Lobeco branches.

(The Public Library Foundation of Beaufort County generously donated funds for WonderBooks at the St. Helena branch.)
